Welcome to the voting section of the Solent Renegades Car club website, where you can vote for a car you like. There are thousands of photos in the database to go flick through. dont worry if you dont have to vote on them all, stop anytime you like.
It would take many hours to go through all these.
Each image can be clicked on to view a larger photo. They have all been taken are various car shows we have attended, the photos can be seen in the photo gallery section of the website.
This solent Renegades website has been radicaly updated during Feburary 2005. One thing that started it off this year, was having to move to new servers due to bandwidth limits. The language that the first site page was written in was too much of a pain to force it to work, so we rewrote the site in ASP. This re-write has opened many doors to interactive options and database implementation is far less time consuming.
Every vote you place go towards voting figures are stored in our online database to create statistics, let us know the cars you like and cars you dislike, give them a honset ranking from 0 to 8. The choice of 0 to 8 is converted into a percentage and total points are calculated.

When a rank is placed the next random car will appear and below will be shown your last car you voted on and what effect your vote had on it. A random photo is piicked from the database and displayed below, a photo of the magician Paul Daniels iis in there somewhere.
An idea for the future is for viewers to submit their car so the rest of the world can vote for it. Any car or truck can be submitted would have to be validated by one of us at Solent Renegades and then uploaded to the website for all to view. You will notice most of the car on there are American, Classic or Custom cars as thats the shows we mainly attend. Dont just vote for zero on every car just because you dont like the syle. Many hours have been put into these cars to keep them in as good condition as some of them are. Happy voting...
